A few months ago my stop start stopped working, few days ago got my battery tested and it was showing as good and the voltage showing at 12.4v on their machine. Plugged forscan in to the car and it is showing the battery voltage is around 11.4-11.7V.
Hi I have an 05 zx4. The engine turns over but not fast enough to start. Already replaced the battery and starter, I took the belt off none of the bearings are bad on the pulleys and I put a ratchet/socket on the crank and it turns over free.
Test your BSR by ONLY watching the system work: Leave an interior light On (such as a Map light). Take you car keys out, and get out of the car, close the door and wait. 15 to 25 minutes later the light should turn Off automatically. If it does turn off, that is your BSR system working properly.

Today was the last time it happened but luckily I had a small 12v battery in my hatch from my motorcycle and a pair of jumper cables.
