Own a 901, used to have 790R, go with the 890R, suspension matters and is vastly better with the R kodel ktm. My two cents. Also 901 has even worse wind buffering than ktm. Did you find the suspension on the 790R harsh compared to the 901? The 890R came in yesterday and it should be ready to test ride on Tuesday.
On the 790 there is also abs off, an option the 890 doesn't have. The big thing with Rally mode is the adjustable traction control (MTC) which you can adjust in 9 steps while riding, using the up and down buttons on the left control above the blinker button.

105 Location: Who knows anymore I said after I bought the 390A I'd buy a 790 or 890 this fall or spring. I wanted both but didn't want to buy both off the bat. Figured I'd wait and worse case if I hated the 390A, I'd trade it in. Like any bike the 390 isn't perfect but I still like it quite a bit.
