Moonlight was a serious film about a man's mostly sad life played by a far less known actor. I don't agree that La La Land spoke to artists more than Moonlight did, just that it has mass appeal. Greatest Showman also was more popular than Three Billboards or the Shape of Water. Doesn't mean it deserved best picture. Jang Man-Wol walks up to him, recognizing him and saying she wanted to get to him as quick as possible so he wouldn’t wait too long.
