Moonlight was a serious film about a man's mostly sad life played by a far less known actor. I don't agree that La La Land spoke to artists more than Moonlight did, just that it has mass appeal. Greatest Showman also was more popular than Three Billboards or the Shape of Water. Doesn't mean it deserved best picture.
Jang Man-Wol walks up to him, recognizing him and saying she wanted to get to him as quick as possible so he wouldn’t wait too long. This is the part of the epilogue that confused many viewers as some thought it was Chan-Seong dreaming how things would be or Man-Wol turned around on the bridge to meet him again.
La La Land, the 2016 film directed and written by Damien Chazelle, is a musical about love, art, and dreams. It won 6 Oscars, and almost best picture. It is a homage to former Hollywood musicals, with lots of references to other musicals. La La Land is optimistic—but also realistic—and it has great music. The song in the very end of the
