And hope that it can get your Edward to carrying the swords again. OR if that's not workable, go to Cabin and get weapon equipped up him.

Thatmakes no sense. Xbox360 controllers will always, always be supported right up until a generation comes along that utilizes more buttons than the xbox360 controller has. TheXbox One controls are Right Trigger for Swimming Faster & hold B to Dive. I honestly don't know as I've never used any PS Controllers, but I would assume the Dive button while swimming would be the same button that you use to Crouch when you are on Land. AC4 doesn't have a crouch button and you also can't dive.
